Attention! The European Commission has issued a new version of the RED harmonization standard

On October 4th, 2023, the European Commission (EU) published the implementation decision of Directive (EU) No.2023/2392 in the official gazette of the EU, which contains new harmonization standards supporting the directive of radio equipment, involving international mobile communication, cellular network equipment and digital audio broadcasting and transmitting equipment. The directive shall come into force as of the date of its publication in the official gazette of the European Union.

This key update is:

? The cellular communication equipment standard EN 301 908-1 was updated to V15.2.1, and EN 301 908-1 V15.1.1 will expire on April 4, 2025, while the previous version EN 301 908-1 V13.1.1 expired on September 29, 2023;

? DAB transmitting equipment standard EN 302 077 has been updated to V2.3.1, and EN 302 077-2 V1.1.1 will be invalid on April 4, 2025.
